Irina Provada

As most of best Russian Matryoshka artists, Irina Provada is a graduate of Abramtsevo Art School. She lives in Sergiev Posad near the famous Holy Trinity Lavra. She has three babies, her husband cuts iconostasis wooden frames and church furniture working in monastery working-shop. Irina's basic occupation is also church art. She is an excellent embroidery artist. Her embroidered icons made after antic examples are high appreciated. But she is also an author of charming nesting dolls. Her manner is original and easy to recognize, her dolls are full of poetry and humor.
